Food Intolerances

In cooperation with various scientific partners such as:

  • University Clinic of Graz, CEO Prof.Dr. Aberer and Doz.Dr. Komericki

and several others in Austria, Germany and Switzerland SCIOTEC emerged into a trend setting R&D lab in the field of food related intolerances.

Besides the “classic IgE-related allergies” a strong increase in food related intolerances could be observed over the last ten years.

Most common Intolerances:

  • Histamine Intolerance: Problems with histamine containing food (red wine, champagne, cheese, tomatoes, smoked ham, etc.)
  • Problems with fructose containing food (fruits, juices, jams, soft drinks, etc.)
  • Lactose Intolerance: Problems with lactose containing food (milk, cheese, yoghurt, etc.)
  • Gluten Intolerance (celiac disease): Problems with food containing gluten (bread, noodles, etc.)

Target of SCIOTEC is to provide corresponding solutions for all these areas until 2011.

Until 2009 the following areas are covered already with highly effective solutions:
