Diagnosis:
Test of activity of the enzyme DAO in serum or plasma.
DAO activity can be diagnosed with only 50µl serum or plasma clinically proven. DAO activity shows the capacity of histamine degradation by the patient. It shows how much histamine the body can degrade within a certain period of time and therefore easens the diagnosis for the doctor.

Analysis:
Frequency of symptoms show an inverse correlation to DAO. The probability of histamine intolerance increases with the decrease of DAO activity.
